What we do

Our core research is focused on three nodes within the food value chain: PRODUCTION, PROCESSING & CONSUMPTION .

At the PRODUCTION level, we focus on conducting sustainability assessments (Environmental, Social and Economic) of different farm level production systems.

At the PROCESSING level, we focus on employing process-intelligent tools to model, assess and optimize agri-food/feed and bi/co-product systems.

At the CONSUMPTION level, we focus on developing decision tools to support consumer food choices.

In achieving this, we leverage digital innovations, machine learning, computational modeling, and human health impact modeling to drive sustainable and resilient food systems.
